Free Community Event to Explore Democracy Through the Lens of Theatre
PITTSFIELD, MA — Barrington Stage Company invites the community to a special “Deeper Look: Democracy Roundtable” on Sunday, July 13 at 10:30 AM at the Boyd-Quinson Stage (30 Union Street, Pittsfield). This timely and thought-provoking event is free to attend and open to the public.
As part of Barrington Stage’s commitment to fostering dialogue through theatre, this roundtable will explore what democracy means today and how we preserve it. The moderated panel will connect vital political themes from three of this season’s productions—N/A, Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground, and Camelot—to the current moment in American civic life.
