HMT casts without regard to race, gender or ethnicity.
Roles:
Julia Simmons: an attractive young woman, Letitia Blacklock’s neice.
Letitia Blacklock: an attractive older woman. ‘Little Paddocks’ is her home.
Dora Bunner: a somewhat fussy older woman, a lodger, and an old friend of Letitia’s.
Mitzi: a small feisty(funny). Hungarian refugee. The cook. Age indeterminate.
Miss Marple: a small elderly woman with a discerning eye for details.
Phillipa Haynes: tall, attractive, young, Patrick’s ‘friend’.
Mrs Swettenham: an older woman, a very nosy neighbor.
Patrick Simmons: young and handsome, Julia’s brother.
David Swettenham: young, ‘put upon’ son of the nosy neighbor.
Rudi Schwartz: a menacing man of indeterminate age. Swiss.
Inspector Craddock: middle aged, a bit grumpy, but definitely in charge.
Sergeant Mellors: any age, a bit of a ‘needler’.
