18 intrepid middle school and highschool students embark on a 4-week adventure exploring the high seas of learning and arranging Pirates of Penzance, or a Slave of Duty by Gilbert & Sullivan.  A comic operetta of the late 19th Century, Pirates is ribald with humor, patter songs, and ridiculous portrayals of positions of power, and…PIRATES! MAIDENS! POLICE! A MAJOR GENERAL! and RUTH, a piratical maid-of-all-work.  Come see these talented kids in action!
