Home Made Theater is proud to present A Murder is Announced, a stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s beloved novel. Featuring the iconic amateur sleuth Miss Marple, the play runs for two weekends, from October 10 to October 19, at The Anthony “Skip” Scirocco Music Hall in Saratoga Springs City Hall.

The story begins with a peculiar notice in the local newspaper of the sleepy village of Chipping Cleghorn, announcing that a murder will take place that very evening at the home of Miss Blacklock. What seems like a harmless joke turns deadly when a murder actually occurs. Inspector Craddock is on the case, but it’s the keen-eyed Miss Marple who helps unravel a tangled web of secrets, concealed identities, and mixed motives to expose the killer.

Directed by Dianne O’Neill, whose previous Home Made Theater credits include Dial M for Murder, The Mousetrap, And Then There Were None and Witness for the Prosecution, this production promises a suspenseful evening for all fans of mystery.
