On December 12, 5pm and 6:30pm Brattleboro’s Festival of Miniatures presents Sandglass Theater’s Nativity Shadow Play at the Centre Congregational Church Parlor, 193 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301
The Nativity is the iconic Christmas story presented as Shadow Theater with delicacy, heart and humor by Sandglass Theater. Christmas was celebrated in Victorian times by welcoming all into one’s home during the Holidays to share in a drink, raise a toast to friendship, and to participate in a parlor entertainment. Behind a large white backdrop, performers, puppets and cut outs will recreate the first Christmas in ‘Silhouette’.
