Playhouse Stage Company announces auditions for Summer Season 38 and is seeking students, Non-Equity, and AEA actors for all productions in the 2026 summer season.

AUDITIONS CONTINUE: January 22–25, 2026
AUDITION SCHEDULE & FORMAT:
Auditions are open sign-in only. There is no advance registration. All auditioners will be seen in the order they sign in.
- Thursday, January 22: 5:00–6:30 PM
- Friday, January 23: 5:00–6:30 PM
- Saturday, January 24: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM
- Sunday, January 25: 12:00 PM–1:30 PM
Also on JANUARY 25, for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Non Equity Open Dance Call for Dancers who Sing – 10am Sign In / Dance at 10:30am
Auditioners need only attend one audition window to be considered for all productions for which they are eligible. You may be asked to return for additional callbacks if needed and available.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prepare a one-minute (32 bar) cut of a song of your choice
- Bring a complete list of summer availability and known conflicts
- Be prepared to indicate which productions you wish to be considered for
Performers should prepare about 32 bars/measures (roughly one minute) of any song from any musical that best showcases their ability. Please bring sheet music for your song; a piano accompanist will be available to accompany auditions. After your vocal audition, you may be asked to dance in groups – so please be prepared and dress comfortably.
If you have a headshot and resume, please bring a copy. Students – if you don’t have them, that is okay! When you arrive, you will be asked to complete an online form to sign in. Our staff will be available to answer any questions students or parents may have. Note: information about the rehearsal processes will be available at the open call. Please come prepared with your schedule, ready to note any potential conflicts with the schedule, as this is considered as part of the casting process.
CALLBACKS
- Callbacks will be following initial auditions for Charlie and Footloose. 13 the Musical callbacks will be SUNDAYS at 3pm to give students time to familiarize themselves with the material.
