Sick of the cold, dreary weather? Want to discover and bring a garden back to life? Join Mary, Colin, Dickon, and the rest of Misselthwaite Manor in Greenfield High School Drama Club’s performance of this classic story adapted by Gary Peterson from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved children’s novel. “The Secret Garden” is about a lonely, bullied orphan who moves to the moors of England, discovers a neglected garden that’s been locked away for ten years, meets her sickly cousin Colin, and works to bring both him and the garden back to life with the help of her new friends Dickon the animal-charmer, Ben the gruff gardener (who’s really a big softie), Martha the diligent, cheerful housemaid, and a friendly robin played by a live flautist. This charming performance for the whole family features several seniors enjoying their last time on the GHS stage. We hope to see you there!
