Directed and Choreographed by Renee Wymer with Dana Haley, Music Direction by Lorri Bond and Produced by Lynne Worth, Something Rotten! is set in the 1590s. Brothers Nick (Michael Giordano) and Nigel Bottom (John Lee) are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as Shakespeare (Josh Bond). When Nostradamus (Mary Jo Greco) foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers along with Bea (Rayleen Carangio-Speirs) and Portia (Renee Wymer) realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz. Something Rotten! features large song and dance numbers, and a wacky cast of over-the-top characters played by our twenty supporting and ensemble actors, each with their own moment to shine.

The show was written by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell with music and lyrics by Wayne and Karey Kirkpatrick. It is presented through arrangement with Music Theatre International.  Show sponsors are Haystack Catering, GSK Climate Control and Mason Dental.
