BELOW THE BELT takes us to a mysterious, remote world dominated by corporate bureaucracy. There, three men grind away at their jobs in a grim, fenced industrial compound, furnished only with bunks, a table and an ancient typewriter, while sinister animals with yellow eyes encroach upon them. This dystopian comedy by Richard Dresser hilariously chronicles their maneuvers in the pointless quest for status.Directed by Russell Sage College theater professor David Baecker, the Theater Voices production of a show that the New York Post called “Gloriously funny but also wickedly insightful,” will feature a trio of the Capital Region’s premier actors: Ethan BotwickDavid Girard and John Romeo
