Casting Call – THERE IS HOPE – Two Male or Male-Presenting Actors Needed
Currently seeking actors and interested performers for a staged production of THERE IS HOPE, an original romantic comedy/drama with themes of healing, redemption, and the hope that tomorrow can be better than today.
***Volunteer/Unpaid Production***
SYNOPSIS: Kevin Seward is still struggling with the breakup of his last girlfriend, Lucy Grossman. One night, he attends an ugly Christmas sweater party at a local club, only to learn that Lucy is somewhere on the premises. As Kevin makes his way through the party trying to avoid her, the play unfolds on two levels: his present-day encounters with partygoers, and flashbacks to his complicated history with Lucy. As the emotional tension builds, one question hangs over the evening: what would happen if the two of them finally came face to face again?

ERWIN GLEASON – Best friend of main character Kevin Seward. Worries about his friend’s well-being and tries to guide him through difficult times, although not always in the gentlest of ways.
