The Next Act Theatre is excited to announce that we’re looking for a Music Director for our upcoming production of Dear Evan Hansen!
We’re seeking someone who is passionate about musical theatre, enjoys collaborating with young performers, and can help guide the vocal and musical storytelling of this production.
Production Details
- Rehearsal Dates: Rehearsals will be 3 days a week. Weekday rehearsals will be three hours in the evenings and there will be a longer span on Saturdays. In the last two weeks this will increase. The final schedule will be created based on team availability and conflicts.
- Performance Dates: November 13th-15th
- Venue: Rehearsals and performance will be held at the Westminster Presbyterian Church. 85 Chestnut St Albany NY 12210.
Audition Information
- Date: Monday August 10th, Tuesday August 11th with callbacks as needed on Thursday August 13th.
- Time: 5pm is check in for students, with auditions starting promptly at 5:30pm
- Location: Westminster Presbyterian Church. 85 Chestnut St Albany NY 12210.
Responsibilities will include being the audition accompanist (preferred), teaching and rehearsing music with the cast, working closely with the director and production team, and conducting or overseeing performances.
