We are thrilled to announce open auditions for two all-female productions that celebrate the strength, wit, and unbreakable bonds of women!

This is a historic moment for The Dorset Players — our first season featuring two back-to-back all-female casts. We want to fill the stage with the incredible local talent of women from Dorset and surrounding communities!

Audition Dates & Times

  • Tuesday,  July 14 – 6:00 PM 
  • Saturday, July 18 – 10:00 AM 
  • Tuesday, July 21 – 6:00 PM

Sides (scene excerpts) will be available one week prior to auditions and will also be provided at the audition itself. To receive the sides in advance, please contact the business office at 802-867-5570 and leave a voicemail with your email and they will be sent to you.  No prepared monologue is required.

Limited Mid-Term Election Special Engagement

Who Should Audition? Women ages 18 years old and up! — experienced actors and first-timers alike — are warmly invited! Whether you’re a seasoned performer or have always wanted to try theater, this is your chance to be part of something special in our community.

Rehearsals will primarily be evenings and weekends. Full schedules will be shared at callbacks.

Come laugh, cry, roar, and shine with us! These two powerful, hilarious, and deeply human plays are going to be unforgettable — and we want YOU on stage.
