Lake George, NY – Lake George Dinner Theatre’s “Season of Nostalgia” begins with the smash off-Broadway musical hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes, written and created by Roger Bean, running July 10 through September 5, 2026. The Marvelous Wonderettes is a crowd-pleasing blast from the past that will keep you smiling, singing and toe-tapping all the way to the end. The year is 1958 and it’s prom night for four best friends at Springfield High School (Go Chipmunks!). Act Two jumps ahead to their 10-year high school reunion where we find out how life has turned out for this effervescent foursome. A smash off-Broadway hit, The Marvelous Wonderettes is an uproarious cotton candy-colored jukebox musical trip down memory lane, featuring your favorite pop songs from the 50s and 60s.
Artist Director, Jarel Davidow, shares: “Given the success we’ve had with musicals for the past couple seasons, I knew that The Marvelous Wonderettes was the perfect musical to put on our stage this season. Audiences won’t be able to resist singing along to the jubilant hits of the 50s & 60s.”
We are thrilled to welcome Olivia Dybas back to our stage as Suzy. A Glens Falls native, Olivia charmed audiences last season as Becky in Incident at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Joining her onstage for this production are three talented New York City area performers: Albany area native, Morgan Smith, as Betty Jean, Victoria Bost as Cindy Lou and Kimberly Wilpon as Missy. Don’t miss this foursome as they sing their hearts out and wow our audiences on stage this season.
