Local historic site seeking actors to participate in Rev War (1777, right before Battle of Saratoga) themed focus tours, which will be offered 8/22 and 8/23, two 1 to 1.5 hour long tours each day. Should also be available for at least 2 info sessions / rehearsals in July & Aug. The persona’s we are looking to have portrayed are the following:
Philip Van Rensselaer / Keeper of Military Stores / age 30’s
Killian Van Rensselaer / Colonel 2nd Ren’wyck Battalion / age 60
John Scott / Tenant Farmer on Van Ren land in Claverack / age 30’s
Male son of John Scott / late teens – early 20’s
Female Camp Follower / any age / not a lead
We can offer some compensation and lunch.
