Rehearsals
· Rehearsals Begin in late October 2026
· Most rehearsals will be Sunday – Wednesday evenings (4-5 times per week)
Performances
· December 3rd – 20th, 2026
· Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, & Sunday at 2:00 PM
· Saturday Matinee – 2:00pm – December 12th, 2026
The Show
In that most idealized period of 20th-century America, the Eisenhower years of the 1950s, the Pazinski family has a lot going on in their cramped Buffalo apartment. The youngest of the bunch, 12-year-old Rudy, is a smart, wise-cracking kid who’s starting to question family values and the Roman Catholic Church. When Rudy goes up against the ruler-wielding Sister Clarissa and announces that instead of being confirmed he‘d rather shop around for a more “fun” religion, all hell breaks loose.
Available Roles
We are only searching for youth performers at this time. The adult roles of Chet, Ellen and Sister Clarissa have already been cast.
RUDY — 12; well meaning, but precious, a smart, “wise-cracking kid.” He’s clever, observant, analytic, thoughtful, caring and funny, but not in a smart-alecky way.
GEORGIE — 13; has an intellectual disability, leaving him with a mental age of 3 years old, good natured.
EDDIE — 15; typical high school kid, tries to be tough, aspiring cartoonist.
ANNIE — 16; also a typical high schooler, self-conscious about her weight and other coming-of-age issues.
