Time: There will be three sessions each evening – 6-7, 7-8, and 8-9. You need only attend one session.

Auditions take place at our Wilton Mall headquarters. Because auditions may extend past mall operating hours, please use the Home Made Theater rear entrance:
Drive to the exterior entrance of JCPenney (facing BJ’s).
To the left of JCPenney, locate the loading bay.
Enter through the door in the back-right corner of the loading bay.
Follow the hallway to the left; the Home Made Theater door will be open and clearly signed.
If you cannot attend auditions but are still interested, VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Please send auditions to auditions@homemadetheater.org by AUGUST 13th. Video submissions should be no longer than 4 minutes and include a short introduction, two short contrasting monologues, and a showcase of a special skill.
ABOUT THE SHOW
Six strangers arrive at Boddy Manor for a dinner party none of them understands. Each hides a secret, and each is being blackmailed—but for what? When the lights go out, the bodies start piling up, and everyone becomes both a suspect and a potential victim.
Based on the cult-classic film, Clue is a fast-paced, bombastic murder mystery filled with secrets, panic, physical comedy, and increasingly terrible decisions. It’s a sharp, relentless comedy about a room full of guilty people trying to solve a murder without revealing too much.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
What to Bring: A current photo (non-returnable) and resume (if available), and a comprehensive list of schedule conflicts through October 18.
Format: Auditions will consist of readings from the script. Sides will be provided on-site. Also please be prepared to show off any special skills you have (juggling, accents, knitting, funny walks, whatever makes you unique).
Conflicts: Outside of Tech Week and performances, regular rehearsal conflicts can be accommodated if declared in advance.
REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Rehearsals
Dates: Initial read through will be on Monday, August 24. Regular rehearsals will begin on Tuesday, September 8th.
Schedule: Mondays–Thursdays (6:30 PM–10:00 PM) & Sundays (12:00 PM–4:00PM)
Location: Home Made Theater Headquarters in the Wilton Mall.
Tech Week: Begins Saturday, October 3. (At that time rehearsals move to the performance venue.)

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
All roles are open to actors of all ethnicities and gender identities.
Wadsworth: The tightly wound butler holding the evening together by sheer force of will. Precise, formal, increasingly frantic, and convinced he is several steps ahead.
Miss Scarlet: Confident, intelligent, and completely unashamed. Reads the room quickly, speaks plainly, and rarely gives anyone the reaction they hope for.
Colonel Mustard: A decorated military figure with strong opinions, a weak grasp of the situation, and zero instinct for subtlety. Loud, physical, and certain he should be in charge.
Mrs. White: A questionable figure with several deceased husbands and very little patience for grief. Controlled, severe, and capable of saying horrifying things without flinching.
Mrs. Peacock: The anxious, high-status spouse of a senator. Talks constantly when nervous (which is always), creating chaos while desperately attempting to appear respectable.
Professor Plum: An academic who considers himself charming, sophisticated, and irresistible. He is only intermittently correct.
Mr. Green: Nervous, awkward, and painfully eager to avoid attention. The harder he tries to look harmless, the more suspicious he appears.
Yvette: The French maid. Knows far more than she reveals and brings much more to the table than the decorative role others assume she plays.
Mr. Boddy: The host of the evening and the mastermind behind the gathering. Smug, manipulative, and dangerous enough to believe he can control the room.
The Cook: Boddy Manor’s cook with a hidden connection to the guests. Blunt, watchful, and deeply tied to the mystery.
The Motorist: An unexpected visitor whose arrival makes an already bad night significantly worse.
The Cop: A police officer who arrives at the absolute wrong moment and immediately senses trouble.
The Singing Telegram Girl: A cheerful interruption in an evening that has long since stopped being cheerful.
