Bennington, Vt.— From September 4th through the 13th, Bennington Theater presents Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” a witty comedy that blends humor with profound questions.
The play imagines a fictional meeting between a young Pablo Picasso and Albert Einstein at a Parisian bar in 1904. As the two debate genius, creativity, art, and science, the play mixes clever dialogue, slapstick humor, and a surreal appearance by Elvis Presley.
