*Not So Common Players* will be holding auditions for it’s summer production of *Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific: In Concert*. The show will take place July 23, 24, & 25 on the outdoor Commons stage in Clifton Park.
In this concert version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, two parallel love stories are threatened by the dangers of prejudice and war.
Closed auditions will take place on the evenings of Tuesday, June 8 and Thursday, June 10 at the Clifton Park Senior Center, located at 6 Clifton Common Blvd, Clifton Park, NY. Please fill out this form and you will receive an email with your audition time. There will be up to 5 people scheduled for each time slot. We will do our best to accommodate your first choice. *Please come to the audition prepared to sing a song from Rodgers & Hammmerstein’s South Pacific.* An accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to read a short scene from the show.
The rehearsal process for this production will be short. As this is a concert version of the show, lead characters will not necessarily have to memorize their entire part although some memorization will be helpful and necessary.
