Fort Salem Theater Announces Auditions for “Always, Patsy Cline”

ALWAYS PATSY CLINE auditions will be held Monday, July 26 (7PM-9PM) and Tuesday, July 27 (7PM-9PM) by appointment only at Fort Salem Theater (10 E. Broadway, Salem NY 12865). Each actor will receive a minimum of two complimentary tickets. Travel and stipends are not available at this time. Click the link below to sign up.

Roles:

Patsy Cline, the legendary country singer

Louise Seeger, a Texas housewife and a fan of Patsy?s

*Both roles are open to people of any age, ethnicity, or gender identity.*

Audition Details:

For Patsy, please prepare 16 bars of a pop or country tune. No a cappella – please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided.

For Louise, please prepare a one-minute comedic contemporary monologue.

During auditions for either roles, you may be asked to do a cold reading from the script or sing a little from the score.

If you are unable to attend auditions in person, but are still interested, please send a video of your audition song or monologue to kyle@fortsalem.com before 12 noon on Sunday, July 25th.

Rehearsals Details:

Rehearsals will begin the following week and will be scheduled based on the availability of the selected performers.
