Can’t wait to get out of the house this summer? Confetti Stage has the perfect excuse for you — a side-splitting screwball comedy under the stars! This one?s got it all! Drama! Comedy! Romance! Singing! Fighting! Feasting! All against the beautiful backdrop of The Shaker Heritage Site!
The Servant of Two Masters tells the story of Beatrice Rasponi, a tough-as-nails Lady of Turin who disguises herself as her late brother Federigo in order to find his killer…who also happens to be her one true love, Florindo! As these two star-crossed lovers search the city of Venice for each other, they both unknowingly hire the services of the same valet: Truffaldino Battochio, a rascally rogue who goes to hilarious lengths to conceal his dual employment!
Things go from crazy to absolutely bonkers when Beatrice tries to cash-in on the dowry of Clarice, her dead brother’s fiancee! This incurs the wrath of Clarice’s jealous suitor, Sylvio, who was certain that Federigo had died.
And if that isn’t plot enough for you, there?s more– as luck would have it, Florindo and Beatrice end up staying
in the same hotel on the same night, forcing a distressed Truffaldino to serve a banquet to each of them! Can Truffaldino keep up his ruse? Will Beatrice and Florindo discover each other? Will any of the young lovers find true happiness? See the show to find out for yourself!
