Zigzag, the new small-cast musical at The Strand, 210 Main Street in Hudson Falls, NY in December, is auditioning Friday, September 17 at 7 p.m. for three lead roles:


TENDER: 50ish tough-love bluesy alto; sings, acts and dances a little; the dramatic heart of the show, bartender and more mature boss of honky-tonk singer Cowboy


GIRL: 20ish ingénue, mezzo soprano; sings, acts, dances ballet, tap, musical theater & CW; career-driven younger self of flighty cabaret singer Butterfly


BRUCE: 30-40ish baritone/bass; sings, acts and dances a little; a manipulative, abusive bully with a showstopper song & sex appeal


Bring headshot, resume and one song with piano/vocal score to sing, ready to act a scene with sides we provide, dance and do a little improv. Proof of vaccination required. Rehearsals start mid-October and 4 nights a week in November for December 3-5 performances. Small stipend for actors.
