|Pittsfield, MA–Berkshire Theatre Group seeks young actors to audition for its upcoming youth production of Footloose directed by Kathy Jo Grover. Roles are open to young actors of all ethnicities, particularly those who are aged 12-19. Auditionees must be fully vaccinated at the time of the audition. Proof of vaccination will be required to audition. Masks are mandatory and must be worn during the auditions.|
Students should come prepared to learn songs from Footloose and may be asked to read from the script. Callbacks will take place as needed. Rehearsals will start in early January 2022 and occur in the evenings approximately four days a week. All rehearsals will take place in Pittsfield, MA. Additional daytime and or weekend rehearsals will be held as necessary during the February school vacation week (February 22-27). Performances are slated for February 2022.
