West Stockbridge – Since 2020, The Foundry, a multidisciplinary performing arts venue in West Stockbridge, has curated young artists in a variety of genres including music, theater, dance, and comedy, offering them a professional platform and audience on Tuesday evenings in the venue’s black box theater. 

Last year the performances ran the gamut from a solo accordion player, an indie rock band from Amherst, an improv troupe from Skidmore College, two Monument Mountain graduates with a multimedia comedy show, a ukulele songwriter, a Pittsfield High School string octet and quartet, and more.

This series is at the heart of The Foundry’s mission and its continued success has been ensured by the generous underwriting of local businesses Stone House Properties and Shire City Endo. 

The Emerging Artist Series will take place Tuesdays,  July 19 through August 30 at 6:30PM. $5.00 cover charge goes directly to the artists. The bar will be open and no reservations are required. More information at thefoundryws.com.
