NO PERFORMANCES OF “I KNOW I CAME IN HERE FOR SOMETHING” THIS WEEKEND!
How I WISH we were kidding… Taconic Stage has decided that we are going to err on the side of CAUTION. The whole point of performing in an open-air tent was to keep the audience – as well as the cast – safe. So, although we could ‘get away’ with testing and jump right back in we are going to wait another week to be SURE .
This was not an easy decision – we WANT to get out there and make our friends and neighbors laugh! But despite new CDC guidance that basically says we’d be ‘okay’ if we tested and wore masks – we feel that we owe it to YOU to be absolutely certain. (We’re also taking a big financial hit for a little theatre company – have you ever had to rent a large TENT, for example? – but we really feel we’re doing the right thing.)

So please click on the icon above and buy your tickets NOW to join us NEXT weekend on either the 19th, 20th or 21st and we’ll make it up to you, big time. Why? First, we could really use your support to help us during these still-trying times and second, we really DO want to get out there and give you all a good laugh. (And I can’t speak for YOU but the rest of the cast and I could really use a laugh right about now… Or right about NEXT WEEKEND, to be precise…)
AND funny to think how a week ago on opening night it was so HOT we were like a bunch of steamed dumplings up on that little stage and now it’s so cool and lovely out. (Really funny… Ya just GOTTA laugh…)
Really hope to see you next weekend and we SO appreciate your patience and support – especially those who had their tickets refunded not once but TWICE. I hope you find something fun to do this weekend – but not TOO MUCH fun – save that for when you FINALLY get to see our show! (Isn’t the anticipation wonderful…?)

Performances will be held at Copake Lake Boat & Ski, 281 Lakeview Road, Craryville. NY, 12521 on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19 & 20 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. All tickets are $25 and can be purchased online at brownpapertickets.com or – if you really can’t buy tickets online a few exceptions will be made by calling the theatre at 518-325-1234. (Or occasionally available at the door.)
