There’s just something about a train ride in December that’s so magical. Jump aboard a Hoosac Valley Train Ride in Adams this weekend or next weekend. Guests have the option of two experiences: A Mistletoe and Music train or the Tinseliner with Santa. 

The Mistletoe & Music train departs Saturday Dec.10 and 17 at 3:30 and 6 p.m. Enjoy the sounds of musical duo Samantha Talora and Ron Ramsay in the parlor car as they sing Christmas songs for the hour ride. Bring your own drinks and snacks. 

The Tinseliner is perfect for children excited to meet Santa to tell him their Christmas wishes. Choose from Saturday Dec. 10 and 17 at 1, 3:30 or 6 p.m. OR Sunday Dec. 11 and 18 at 11:30 a.m., or 2 p.m. All trains depart from 4 Hoosac St. in Adams, and parking is nearby at the Adams Visitor Center. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure and check-in is 10-20 minutes before departure.
