A dying plant shop in a dying neighborhood receives a visitor from the past:  Megan, the neighborhood screw-up, whose suicide attempt following a terrible tragedy.  Roger, the store owner, wants nothing to do with this situation, but Megan is improbably clinging to life. Can a soul beyond saving be saved?  A play about courage, redemption, and photosynthesis.

All roles are open to every race and ethnicity. A diverse cast is ideal.

Available roles:
Megan-30’s, pissed, recovering alcoholic and attempted suicide survivor, needs to make a connection to save her life.

Roger-40’s-50’s, a little like a cactus, way more comfortable around plants than people.

Molly-20’s-60’s, Good neighbor who stops into the store, an ideal customer.

Everett-20’s-40, Stoner, Charming ne’er do well you would never want to employ.
