Fort Salem Theater seeks an experienced youth director for The Little Mermaid Jr, a 4.5-week summer camp program free for Salem area students entering 6th-12th grades.
The program begins Wednesday, July 5th and concludes on Friday, August 4th with performances at 4:00PM and 5:30PM. Rehearsals are held Mondays-Fridays from 12PM-3PM.
The Director is responsible for all aspects of the production, including casting, rehearsal scheduling, stage blocking, and internal and external communications. The director will work alongside a music director and choreographer, and will coordinate with the Fort Salem Theater Executive & Artistic Director and Resident Scenic Designer for various venue related items. The Little Mermaid Jr will perform on Fort Salem Theater mainstage’s Pirates of Penzance scenery.
Stipend: $1000 (paid at the conclusion of the camp schedule)
