AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT 

Paid role for Capital Repertory Theatre 

Casting for the role of “debater” 14+ (plays 15-18 years old); Black, Indigenous or Person of Color; appears in Act Two only; should have performance experience (theatre, speech and debate or mock trial etc.); must be willing and enthusiastic to improvise and tell stories about themselves onstage. Engaging, dynamic, smart, passionate, and witty.

This part may be cast with one or two actors depending on scheduling availability. Non-union contract, $100 per performance, eight shows per week during run. All performers must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and have at least one booster.

Rehearsing from August 22nd, 2023.  

Performances: September 15th,2023- October 8th, 2023. 

Rehearsals and performances will take place at Capital Repertory Theatre, 251 North Pearl St, Albany NY 12207.
