SARATOGA SPRINGS (May 1) – Universal Preservation Hall is excited to unveil two distinct events coming to the Great Hall: Boat House Row: a Yacht Rock Experience 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 13 and Bianca Del Rio: Dead Inside Tour 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 16.
Fans of smooth melodies can set sail with the beloved yacht rock group Boat House Row. Yacht rock refers to the highly polished soft rock brand from Southern California, inviting patrons to experience the smooth, mellow music while pretending to be sipping champagne on their yachts. Boat House Row is influenced by the silky sounds of yacht rock greats including Hall & Oates, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan and many more.
The following month, join everyone’s favorite “clown in a gown” as RuPaul’s Drag Race season eight winner, Bianca Del Rio comes to Saratoga Springs with her “Dead Inside Tour.” This is the seasoned comic’s sixth worldwide stand-up comedy tour which will include audience interaction. Bianca will bring her lightning-fast wit and razor-sharp tongue to a unique blend of topics including politics, pop culture, current events and everyday life through someone who is “dead inside” and finds humor in everything.
