Northside Hollow tells the story of a miner trapped in a mine cave-in and the man who intervenes to help him. This play focuses on themes of alienation and connection in our darkest moments.
All roles are available and there’s no need to prepare in advance for auditions. We will be using sides from the script.
Roles include:
Gene (30-55) The miner. A “guy’s guy.”
Marshall (20s – 30s) A first responder. Athletic, scrappy.
Kath (20s – 40s) Gene’s ex-wife. A small town woman. Dry, loving.
Theater Voices productions are staged readings. The rehearsal schedule will be based on actors availability. All actors must be available during Tech week from March 31st through April 3rd, as well as evening performances on April 4th and 5th and matinee performances on April 5th and 6th. Please bring information about your schedule conflicts to the auditions.
