Theater Voices is holding auditions for a staged reading of “Butterflies are Free” by Leonard Gershe, Directed by Yvonne Perry.
Young Don Baker has been blind since birth, his overprotective mother following his every move. At long last, he decides to take his own apartment in Manhattan to pursue his songwriting ambitions. When Mrs. Baker meets his sexy, kooky actress neighbor Jill, her controlling instincts go into overdrive, with hilariously touching results.
