ADAMS, MA—ZipStohr Comedy is back at the Adams Theater on Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. with a night of comedy featuring Tim Krompier and John Ziegler.
Tim Krompier is a dynamic comedy veteran whose performances are both deeply personal and irresistibly entertaining. His style blends autobiographical storytelling with physically expressive character work, all delivered with a self-aware charm that reflects the wit of a seasoned performer and the mischief of a reformed partygoer. A regular in comedy clubs and theaters nationwide, Tim has earned a reputation as a loveable and charismatic headliner. He also maintains a strong presence in New York City and Long Island, where he performs weekly.
John Ziegler, born and raised in New York, John was the winner of the 2016 “Funniest Comic on the East Coast” Contest at Mohegan Sun. John has opened for such comics as Sebastian Maniscalco, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Breuer and Robert Klein. His first Comedy Special, “Getting My Affairs in Order” is available on Youtube. He currently headlines clubs across the country and regularly tours with legendary comedian Bobby Collins.
ZipStohr Comedy was originally created by Rick Stohr and David “Zip” Zerbato in 2005. Over the years, they brought many comedians to Pittsfield, including big names like Bill Burr, Michael Che, and John Mulaney. Zip passed away after a long battle with diabetes, and Rick has continued to book shows in honor of his dear friend. The Adams Theater is delighted to become a home for ZipStohr’s programming.
