Audition Notice: The Hagaman Players
World Premiere of Good Sir Barkeep by Alexandra Reichel
The Hagaman Players is holding auditions for the world premiere of Good Sir Barkeep, a fast-paced,
two-act medieval farce filled with wit, slapstick humor, and outrageous characters.
Character Breakdown
● Horace – Middle-aged tavern owner. Frustrated and practical.
●Yolande – Horace’s wife. Clever, calculating, and truly in charge.
●Joan – Their oddball daughter. Unpredictable and strangely insightful.
●Aberdeen – A pompous, self-important traveling knight.
●Hilda – A fierce, battle-hardened warrior with a short fuse.
●Willy – A charming bard with a flair for storytelling (and the dramatic).
●Cassandra – A naïve young damsel yearning for adventure.
●Royce – A local lord. Very rich, very powerful, very dumb.

Sunday, August 24 at 3:00 PM
Monday, August 25 at 7:00 PM
Location: Pawling Hall, 86 N. Pawling Street, Hagaman, NY
Cold readings (sides) will be provided during the audition.
Performance Dates
● Friday, October 17 at 7:00 PM
● Saturday, October 18 at 7:00 PM
● Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 PM
Rehearsals will begin shortly after casting is complete.
