Steve Grogan would like to recruit the assistance of an intimacy coordinator for his original full-length stage play THERE IS HOPE. Here is all the information you need to know about this position:
SYNOPSIS: Kevin Seward is still miserable over the break-up with his last girlfriend Lucy Grossman. Wanting to help him out of this slump, his friend Erwin invites Kevin to a party at a club in Albany. Not long after Kevin arrives, Erwin tells him Lucy is there as well, so Kevin decides to leave. On his way out, we experience two stories: one is of his encounters with the partygoers, the other consists of flashbacks to their time together. Soon the tension is so thick that the only way to break it would be if he ran into her, but what would be the outcome of such an encounter?
SHOW DATES/TIMES: November 15th at 7pm, November 16th at 2pm
REHEARSAL TIMES: Every Thursday at 7:00pm
FYI ABOUT MEETINGS: If unable to make it to those rehearsals, then Grogan would gladly set up times outside of that between you, the actress, and himself.
There really is just one scene that has a heavy moment of intimacy (even then, if this were a movie, it would get a PG rating at best), so we won’t need MUCH help, but the help we do need is significant to the success of the play.
Please email for more information or if you are interested.
