Great Barrington— On Saturday, May 16th at 7 p.m., Great Barrington Public Theater presents a Berkshire Voices reading of R. Vincent Park’s “The Telling,” directed by Joshua Briggs.

“The Telling,” a Southern Gothic ritual play set in a small American town built on a secret everyone knows but has, by long practice, agreed not to speak aloud, and when sixteen-year-old Billy Hardy accidentally shoots and kills his sister, we learn what this community makes its children carry instead of the truth.

The reading is on Saturday, May 16th at 7 p.m. at St. James Place, located at 352 Main Street in Great Barrington. Admission is free. Tickets and more information can be found online.
