My name is Meghan Mercier, External Affairs & Outreach Coordinator at PS21 Center for Contemporary Performance (located in Chatham, NY). I am working with interdisciplinary artist Andrew Schneider as the community coordinator on a new, site specific work co-commissioned by Lincoln Center and PS21 that will premiere over Labor Day weekend.
In July we will be holding auditions for the Primary Cast – a paid group of 6 people with a background in dance, theater, or some other kind of movement based practice – who will rehearse and develop the choreography for this work alongside Andrew and a group of New York City based professionals.
I’m wondering if you could pass this along to your mailing list? Anyone who wants to audition can fill out this form. The priority deadline is June 15th, accepting responses until July 1st.
Auditions will be held in person on PS21’s campus Friday, July 10th through Sunday, July 12th. Those who are interested but unable to make this weekend work can be in touch with myself and producer Ivey Lowe (iveylowe@gmail.com) about the possibility of arranging an alternative audition.
