New Lebanon, NY (July 12, 2021) — The Theater Barn is pleased to announce their 37th Anniversary Season will continue with a new musical, Night and Day, Love Lost and Found Through the Eyes of Cole Porter running August 5th through August 15th. Featuring the music and lyrics of Cole Porter and based on an idea by Robert Cacioppo, it was conceived and written by Robert Cacioppo with Arthur D’Alessio. Musical arrangements are by Victoria Casella.

Creator Arthur D’Alessio is director and creator Victoria Casella is musical director.  Both D’Alessio and Casella are Theater Barn alum. D’Alessio previously directed Fascinatin’ Gershwin and Grease at the ‘Barn while Casella has served as musical director for the ‘Barn’s productions of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Full Monty, Alter Boyz, and a Anna Don’t.

Night and Day, Love Lost and Found Through the Eyes of Cole Porter is much more than a musical revue as it tells an original story entirely through the lyrics of Cole Porter. His beloved songs are arranged into a romantic musical that will have you tapping your toes as you sing along. Taking place in a Berkshire mansion, circa 1930, we see how the love our couples feel at night creates an intricacy of relationship struggles for them the next day. Only the second production ever produced, this regional premiere is going to be ‘Too Darn Hot’ to miss.

Four actors new to the ‘Barn are joined on stage by The Theater Barn’s beloved Producing Artistic Director, Allen Phelps, who plays the butler.
