Lauren Letellier’s new solo show THE VILLAGE CIDIOT will be presented at The Stissing Center in Pine Plains on Sunday, March 27, 3PM. SYNOPSIS: Having lost her job and her youngest brother to cancer Lauren moves from New York City to an upstate rural town, only to find that the things she worked so hard to acquire in Manhattan — from her professional network to her urban identity — are useless. Faced with marauding bears, suspicious locals and a life-threatening illness, she sets out to create meaning in a new life she never wanted. The hilarious and the heartbreaking are found in equal measure in THE VILLAGE CIDIOT.
