HRC Showcase Theatre, performing this summer at The Theater Barn in New Lebanon, is seeking a young actress in her 20s to take part in a staged reading of TOUCH THE MOON by Arianna Rose. The play is based on the true story of a young woman who went on a class trip to an island on spring break, but never returned. The play will be read on July 30th at 7:30; rehearsal is all day on the 30th. The character, an innocent who has been sheltered and controlled by her mother, is longing to break free. The cast is composed of both Equity and non-Equity performers. We offer a $50 stipend, pay transportation expenses, provide all meals, and offer overnight accommodations if necessary.
