A timeless story of trickery, love triangles, and magic, Confetti Stage‘s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” sees four Athenians competing for and swapping affections with one another as they are bewitched by the mischievous fairy Puck. Meanwhile, a group of amateur actors rehearse the play which they are to perform before a wedding. Both groups find themselves in a forest inhabited by fairies who manipulate the humans and are engaged in their own domestic intrigue.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is directed by Max Beyer, assisted by Vinny Miranda, and managed by Kathryn Capalbo. The cast features Chloe Ader, Megan Anderson, Matt Benincasa, Rachel Bratager, Laura Darling, Emily Fernandes, Alex Grandin, Alexia Halsey, Steve Henel, J. Hunter, Ken Kasch, Ryan Palmer, Rachel Stewart, Robert Stewart, Isabella Varno, and Molly Waters.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” will be performed at the Shaker Heritage Site, 25 Meeting House Road, Albany, NY 12211

Performances will be held August 11-14, with shows at 7:30 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The Sunday performance, August 14, will be held at 6 PM.
